Blisterhead is one of Europe’s most hidden gems in the punk rock scene, formed in 1999 in the small towns of Falköping and Skövde, Sweden. Over the years, the band has built a reputation for consistency and passion, releasing five full-length albums and three EPs through respected indie labels such as Kob Records, Mad Butcher Records, Laketown Records, and Alleycat Records. With tours spanning more than 15 countries across Europe, Blisterhead has shared the stage with legendary acts including Millencolin, Toy Dolls, Mad Sin, GBH, and Bombshell Rocks. Known for their energetic and razor-sharp live performances, they are often regarded as one of the most reliable and captivating live bands in the European punk scene. Musically, Blisterhead delivers a unique blend of punk rock and raw rock’n’roll, driven by incredibly strong choruses and infectious melodies that stay with the listener long after the songs end.

Blisterhead return with their 6th album ”Where We Belong” on Sunny Bastards Records and it’s hands down their strongest release to date. Here the band distills everything that makes Blisterhead who they are: big anthemic choruses, a fierce cocktail of punk rock and rock’n’roll, and a live-recorded energy that oozes honesty, sweat and adrenaline straight through the speakers. With every listen, new hooks and melodies unfold, revealing just how much depth lies beneath the raw power.

This time around, the band drew heavy inspiration from legends like US Bombs, The Humpers and Rancid – blending that raw American punk attack with the grit and melody of classic English 80s punk. The result is a sound that feels both timeless and urgent, staying true to punk’s roots while firing forward at full speed.
