For over 21 years, Gimp Fist have developed into one of the world's most successful UK-Streetpunk bands with a unique songwriting and sound.
Now their 12th album 'Take the Power Back' is being released, produced by Jamie Wilson with 15 new songs.
“We feel like we’ve fused a lot of our influences and styles with this album yet still maintained the Gimp Fist feel. Touching on the current financial climate and working class struggles with songs like “Give Me A Reason” to the angsty, early rancid esq shout at fascists and bullies with “Waiting For The Punchline“
With a blend of street punk, ska and dirty reggae, „Take The Power Back“ will hopefully find common ground with old fans and new alike.“ (Jonny Robson)
The LP edition is released alongside classic black vinyl as a special-color limited edition in 'Atomic Style', each limited to only 400 copies. Also there´s a limited 500 copies CD-Edition as Digipac.
