Products description

Zooparty are, internationally speaking, something like late bloomers, although they have enjoyed high credibility in the Scandinavian punk scene for two decades and connoisseurs have long kept their albums in their record collections like a treasure.

When the band released their album "No matter what you say" in 2024, not only did the legendary magazine "Maximum RocknRoll" notice that "I am, in fact, late to the party with this band. Fortunately, they’re still raging. They fucking rock Yay, I love this. Hats off "

The captivating mix of poppy punk, English '77 punk rock, glam, and honest street rock ’n’ roll. (Ox-Fanzine) speaks for itself, and although punk legends like Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols, Brian James/The Damned, and even KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick recognized their potential and recorded songs with Zooparty, the Swedes have always been far too modest to put themselves in the spotlight.

In fact, every one of their albums so far has been a hit, or as England's Mass Movement Fanzine wrote in 2018: "If you like your punk with a pop edge and relish the classic Fat Wreck Chords period, then Zooparty may well have created your favourite album of the year! Pogo, pogo!"

Their new album "XX" for the 20th anniversary is no different. Every band claims their new album is "their best," but with Zooparty, you can safely believe it:

"XX" is full of captivating punk rock songs that combine aggression with rage, despair, and a clear message with a distinctive sound. With songs like 'Stop it now' and 'An eye for an eye,' they capture everything that has made punk so fascinating for decades, bring it into the future, and turn it into their own 'pogotastic mix' of tragedy and melody.
With the Black Sabbath cover 'Never Say Die,' Zooparty, together with 'Nomads' guitarist Hans Östlund, say their own farewell to the legend Ozzy Osbourne.

Speaking of sound: mastermind Chips Kiesbye (Sator, Nomads, The Hellacopters, etc.) once again couldn't resist producing the album.
