THE HEADLINES – HOMEWRECKER
A "homewrecker" is often referred to as a person who, knowingly in most cases, steps into a relationship or affair with a married significant other.
But what is the true meaning behind this word and the excessive force it takes to burn something to the ground, wether it's a household or a complete life and all of its surrounding souls? It's something different for all of the living; drugs, gambling, decadence, aggression, money, promiscuos sex etc.
The destructive force has in some fashion touched all 5 bandmembers of THE HEADLINES, and all 12 songs try to dismember the subject to some degree.
"What happens before, during and after the HOMEWRECKER takes control of your life?"
The will to discover resulted in their most ambitious work to date: HOMEWRECKER. It's got Alternative rock vibes, hard rock solos, punky snarls and top of the line hooks.
Scandinavian rock has always tested the limits of "how far can this go?" This is no exception with deep into the abyss lyrics aswell as lighthearted party anthems!
On this album the band collaborated with a strong team in their "own backyard" Scandinavia. Recorded, engineered and produced by KB Larsen (Volbeat) and Thomas Larsen (Tambourine studios/Fabriken studios) in Copenhagen and Malmö, mixed by Håkan Sörle (Mando Diao) in Stockholm.
Another unique and ambitious release from THE HEADLINES (Sweden) fitting into the Alternative/punk/rock category.
