They combine soulful ska and rousing punk. Although they were only formed in 2023, they bring a wealth of stage experience with members of Los Placebos and The Porters. Their debut at "Ska im Westend" in Dortmund immediately showed that they have come to stay.
Every spring, migratory birds return from their winter quarters! So watch out, because the Modbirds are also approaching with their first mini-LP "Spin it to win it". (Release Date 25.04.)
With their musical mix of ska, reggae and punk, the band celebrates their love of vinyl in five songs spread over two sides, revives past childhood loves and reminisces about carefree times.
Driven by powerful brass, catchy melodies and the danceable offbeat, social grievances or the topic of mental health are also sung.
